BINTO: Tell us a bit about your daily wellness routine.

Full disclosure, my wellness routine is constantly changing!  It’s (literally) my job to try new beauty and wellness products every day so I am always bringing home new products or lab samples to test out. There are a few constants to my daily routine: I’m not a morning person, so I have to try really hard to start my day with AM workouts, followed by supplements washed down with emergenC, XXL coffee and a banana as I run out the door.  The rest of my day is packed with work meetings and emails but I always drink lots of water! I fill up my giant BKR Water Bottle as many times as I can throughout the day.  After a long day of work I look forward to cooking dinner and usually cook something healthy with extras for lunch the next day. After dinner and some downtime, my nighttime beauty regimen begins which includes a rotation of different masks and facial rollers.  I hit the hay early every night because I require a lot of sleep to function, and I like to keep track of my sleep cycle on the Apple Sleep Analysis app so I know how many hours of sleep I get (and the nerd in me loves data).

BINTO: What product can’t you live without?

I’m obsessed with Beauty & Wellness, especially Skincare products so here it goes:

  • I wash my face with Ohii 2-in-1 cream cleanser with Coconut oil + shea butter to moisturize while cleansing
  • Biologique P50 to gently exfoliate. It smells so bad but works so good!
  • Lixir Vitamin C paste in the morning (when I have a little time) for a 5 minute quick mask, brightens my skin so I look awake and refreshed.
  • Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid treatment at night. This is my biggest splurge item and my #1 skincare need. Lactic Acids exfoliates dead dull skin and makes my skin clear and helps with dark spots.
  • Lots and lots of moisturizers! Patchology Hydration Gel, Mario Badescu SPF 15 Aloe Moisturizer, and Rose Hips Oil.
  • HUM Collagen Love, because topical products just aren’t enough & HUM Daily Cleanse also helps clear skin & body from toxins.
  • LOVE Wellness Lean Queen helps boost metabolism without stimulants so a post-workout necessity.

BINTO: What was the defining moment when you realized you could take your health into your own hands?

After college, I started working for a Startup in NYC and the company was growing exponentially which meant I was working around the clock and eating everything and anything that was fast and cheap.  It was the first time in my life my skin was breaking out and I put on a few pounds, what I like to call the “freshmen 15 of adult life.” It was around this time I met my husband and I had an aha moment that I needed to invest a little more time into myself and being healthy.  We motivate each other to do workout classes, eat healthily, and to stay active.

BINTO: Have you seen your wellness routine evolve over the years?

Absolutely! I’m starting to read labels closer and have a better understanding of what is good for my skin and body. I have hard “no” ingredients: no parabens, no sulfates.  I also have come to learn how much I LOVE workout classes and need them to keep my sanity. A good class with a great teacher will push me to go a little harder than I would in the gym by myself. I’m obsessed with Sculpt at Core Power Yoga and I’m a sucker for SoulCycle.

BINTO: Do you use BINTO? Do you stick to your routine?

YES! And Honestly, no not 100% of the time.  My life is busy and I’m constantly on the go so routines are challenging but it’s something I always strive to improve.

BINTO: Favorite supplement in your pack-Go!

LOVE WELLNESS Lean Queen, HUM Collagen, HUM Glow Sweet Glow, HUM Daily Cleanse, and of course my BINTO probiotics.

BINTO: How do you take your routine on the go?

Binto is the ONLY supplement in single serving packs so they make it easy to travel with and really the only one that comes with me on the go.  When I travel for work I usually hit hotel gyms and do a quick Nike Fitness App workout.

BINTO: Do you feel like there is something you’re still searching for in your wellness journey?

Yes I’m ALWAYS searching for the next big thing and new innovations for work so it pushes me to keep researching and learning. I’m fascinated by Wellness Patches and infusing healthy supplements into daily used products like coffee creamer with collagen and lollipops with vitamins. Seriously, what will they come up with next?!
