BINTO: Tell us a bit about your daily wellness routine.
I wake up every workday at 5:45am (unless I’ve been up too late the night before). Waking up at this hour gives me time to get my daily workout in and get settled for the day ahead. I was never a morning workout person. Starting BINTO made me completely shift my routine - I do not do well without consistent workouts! Post sweat session I clean up, make a quick breakfast and lunch and fly out the door to the office where I finally have my cup of coffee or earl grey tea. I always have water at my desk to keep me hydrated. At the end of a long day I love to sit in silence for a little and cuddle with my cat. Did you know cats help relieve stress and lower blood pressure?! At bedtime I wash my face daily with Osea cleansing milk or Acure sensitive face wash. I follow that up with my personal Curology cream, Trilogy CoQ10 facial oil and then acure sensitive moisturizer. As for my body, I smoother it in clary collection body oil (so amazing). Last but not least, I take my daily BINTO packet with a cup of water. I leave these on my nightstand so I never forget!
BINTO: What product can’t you live without?
Hum let me think about that...BINTO, duh! Also, I love CORA organic tampons, Kari Gran lip balm that I get at Lemon Laine in Nashville and Aveda phomollient for my hair.
BINTO: What was the defining moment when you realized you could take your health into your own hands?
Yes. It was when I started working as a bedside nurse. I became so rundown, exhausted and I didn’t want to turn to prescriptions for everything. I started looking more and more into preventative medicine. At the same time, I started practicing yoga. This was about 8 years ago and I’ve never looked back! Taking care of my body and mind completely shifted my wellbeing and my outlook on life.
BINTO: Have you seen your wellness routine evolve over the years?
Absolutely. While nursing full time it was hard to stick with a daily routine, especially when you’re working rotating 12-hour shifts. For the past 3 years, my routine has been pretty consistent. As long as I get a quick workout, have some fruits and veggies, drink plenty of water and take my BINTO, I feel pretty good.
BINTO: Do you use BINTO? Do you stick to your routine?
Yes and yes!
BINTO: Favorite supplement in your pack-Go!
Ah I love all of them (obviously), but I have to say the probiotic and the zinc. They’ve both helped with skin and my probiotic does wonders for my digestion. I have celiac, so this has always been a prominent struggle of mine.
BINTO: How do you take your routine on the go?
When creating BINTO I knew I wanted something designed for busy women who are on-the-go. Thus the daily packets. It just makes taking your supplements, and sticking to it, so much easier. Aside from that, I love streaming online workout videos or going to a local yoga/spin class when traveling, I often pack some of my own healthy snacks because of my celiac disease, and I always have hand sanitizer and my S’Well water bottle.
BINTO: Do you feel like there is something you’re still searching for in your wellness journey?
Part of me says “no” and part of me says “yes.” As an entrepreneur in the health and wellness space, I will always be searching for something new and exciting that can help make women’s lives easier, fuller and healthier. As for the part that feels content, I think that’s a product of me following my dreams, investing in loving and supportive relationships (husband, family, friends), and cutting out the things that no longer serve my well being. At the end of the day, I feel whole because I have the most amazing job on the planet, helping other women on their health journeys and empowering them to use their voice.
